A Minor Scale (Twice-baked Harmonic) — Similar to the harmonic, but changes the first half of the scale to be the same pattern as the second half.

[EDIT: except I was boneheaded and my brain (made of bone) was convinced that there were two identical halves in a major scale, so everything on this page was wrong, and the whole purpose of the page was full of gerbils. Let's re-wiggle the woggle thusly:]

Half steps: °° A ° Bb °°° C# ° D °° E ° F °°° G# ° A2131 2131
Half steps: ° A ° Bb °°° C# ° D °° E ° F °°° G# ° A131 2131 . 131 2131 . 131 2131

Oh. Wait. That doesn't work. Ok, it's the Half-Baked Harmonic Scale.

Now it works. Thrice-baked harmonic. Fearless music teacher reports: "1312131 is actually called a double (not half-baked) harmonic scale, among other names (I've seen it called 'Persian' and 'Byzantine' too, for instance)". So apparently someone took my invention back in time from the distant famous future. mk.
